Ternio Solutions Group takes on Oracle Open World

Another Oracle Open World has come and gone. Our team from Ternio Solutions Group spent our time at the conference going to various client meetings, discovering new Oracle pathways at different booths and connecting with Big 4 firms. We enjoyed developing relationships with existing clients as well as creating new ones throughout the Oracle ERP space. It was interesting to see the different Oracle Partners such as AST, Mythics, RedHat and ConfigSnapshot and what directions they were moving in. My favorite booth (beyond the ones that offered free giveaways) was ConfigSnapshot. They are based in the UK and offer an easy configuration automation for Oracle EBS and Cloud. Their software allows a more seamless ETL and migration from various entities as well as a rapid and free installation process. The staff was kind, knowledgeable and helped me grasp what their product was all about. This was my first #OOW, so it was a little overwhelming at first. I quickly was able to gain my bearings and visit the different booths throughout the exhibit halls. Below are some images from them:

Beyond the various booths, there were different keynote speeches highlighting the new Oracle ERP technologies and new functionalities. Unfortunately, our team had the “discover pass”, so we were unable to attend them. Our clients and partners mentioned that they highlighted the new directions in which Oracle is heading. For instance, CEO Larry Ellison’s speech highlighted the new generation of cloud that allows free Cloud platforms to developers and students. And of course, we cannot forget about the Cloudfest featuring John Mayor. Our colleague, Victoria Willis, was lucky enough to score some tickets to the show, and she had nothing but good things to say about it. It was apparent through the conference that Oracle is “crushing it”, so to say, in the technology arena.

Overall, Ternio Solutions was able to develop existing client relationships as well as create new ones. It was fun to fully immerse ourselves into the Oracle ERP space for three days. We are definitely excited to be back in the office to work on the new requirements we obtained at #OOW19.
